| Gentle Circumcision is an out-patient medical specialty practice devoted exclusively to performing circumcisions for all age groups. Each of our physicians has over 20 years experience in performing the procedure. Few primary physicians are able to perform circumcisions for infants over 1 month of age in an out-patient setting. Our surgical facility is hospital-based with anesthesia and other related specialists available 24 hours. Circumcisions for newborns and infants to 1 year of age are performed in our circumcision center under local anesthesia. Older children, adolescents and adults utilize our same-day surgicenter with the procedure performed under general (sleep) anesthesia. Gentle Circumcision specializes in pain management techniques that make the procedure and healing process more comfortable. Pain management is an on-going focus of our practice and our ultimate goal is to perform pain-free circumcisions. Meanwhile, we continue to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. |
